HOF: What Are You Wearing Right Now - Part III - Page 2472

you've got a few too many colors going there with the purple, pink, different browns and different blues. it doesn't look bad but something about pulls the eye away from the whole into the separate parts.

Did you comb it? Condition it? Stroke it lovingly while sitting at a stop light? Dunno...looks different.

You know you've come full circle when you're analyzing facial hair instead of clothes.

A beard is just as much an accessory as a pocket square. Note how beautifully stitches' facial hair works with the stripes on the tie. teacha.gif

She'd be proud of today's as well, though she'd more likely say, 'You look nice, dear.", then deftly pick the stray hair off your tie biggrin.gif. (That's a problem with napped fabrics . . .)

"Like the fabric/button/sock/shoe combo. I'm guessing the jacket's true color isn't really purple."

Thank you! The last pic is most accurate, colour wise.

Holdfast, the bow is handmade by me, from Cerrutti light wool/cashmere fabric.

Thanks the interview went ok so hopefully I'll hear back from them soon. As for the tie knot, truth to be told I don't wear suits/ties that much and didn't even know how to tie a tie by myself until last week. I managed to learn the Windsor knot which is supposed to be the most simple one (and yet according to my friends it helps projecting confidence to the interviewers). I've always been admiring the beautiful knots that people make here in this thread so I'll try to learn how to tie them soon :).
