HOF: What Are You Wearing Right Now - Part III - Page 2452

More vintage: A suite and a tie from the 40s. A Jaeger-Le Coultre watch from the 60´s I think. And a new Borsalino hat. The cuff links are dated 1930.

What i really dont like are the shoes.IMHO please donate them! smile.gif

This is a great reference for a shirt and tie sans jacket combo. You have to have a certain kind of attitude to carry the look

Thanks for replies + thumbs up, here is another pic of the last combo I posted + the knit sweater in the second pic + 1 of my awesome dogs.

The details that someone asked about:

Jacket: Aquascutum (got one almost like it, except that one's a hard three).
sweater: Handknit wool/cashmere.
Tie: Altea.
PS: Hand made by friend.
Pants: Boglioli.
Shirt: Stenströms.

I disagree. Like anywhere, you just have to know where to go . . . .

As for recommendations, I lived there forever and had very little luck finding anything good down there clothes-wise. There was a little store (creatively called "European Fashions") in Aventura that carried some decent suits, but generally speaking it was the suck. The Ralph Lauren outlet at Sawgrass once had a slew of Purple Label suits for $500 each, but now it's an RL kids store. There are occasionally good things at the outlet stores (Last Call in the Dolphin Mall, por ejemplo). Puig makes nice bespoke guayaberas. Other than that . . . ???

I'd be interested to hear your recs, since I haven't lived down there in a while (though I'm there frequently, I don't get too much time to explore).

Better use of a little furry dog, IMHO

Of course changed to a velvet smoking jacket, when we brought the cigars out. biggrin.gif
