You can't tell in the pic, but I have some what of a big chest (no homo) and the shirt would have looked really constricting if I buttoned the third button. Also it was really really hot and humid that day.

Then your shirt is the wrong size.

Joshua,

I would encourage you to avoid folding that square like that for as long as you live. I also feel that it doesn't contrast well with your tie, but I suppose that's just my opinion.

Speaking of, knotting that nice tie underneath that short, awkward looking button-down collar perhaps wasn't the best decision either -- then again, it may just be the angle of the shot and it might look better from the front. I don't know.

One more thing about the tie itself: without a dimple, it looks a little bit lifeless. Adding one next time you tie your tie will give it extra body and shit.

Otherwise, cool pants, cool jacket, cool socks, cool shoes.

North Island or South Island?

Thank you.

I'm from the North Island. Auckland.

My weekend fits are usually way too casual for this thread, but today I went shopping so I dressed up a bit. Sorry for the ultra-awful quality but the Samsung Galaxy I normally use is my work phone, and I don't have it on weekends.

Do you have odd shoes on?

I thought so too at first glance but the reflection on the left foot washes out part of the toe making it look pointed as opposed to the chisel toe of the right.

Hi gents. Here's my newest MTM sport coat from Tony Paranzino. Please drop by the Tailor's Feedback thread to see the Robo-Poses and help me evaluate the fit. Thanks.

Probably not going to get much love for wearing a tie with jeans, but I figured it wouldn't be too egregious a violation if the jeans were dark enough. And it's a weekend walk in a park.

Not sure which offense is more heinous -- the pairing of jeans with tie or the wearing of tie without jacket. You're cruisin' for a bruisin', mister. smile.gif

On a more serious note, please provide details on shirt and tie. I really like both.

Claghorn: You're young enough that you can probably get away with the jacket-less tie/jeans thing, but I would recommend a button-down shirt in an oxford cloth and a more casual tie like a knit. The shoes, though, I cannot abide.
