I guess they would have been better without the three horizontal stripes, but I still like them. However, seeing how this is at least the second time my socks aren't getting much love, I might consider a renewal of some stuff in the drawer shog[1].gif I'm mostly an ignorant when it comes to socks.

(As the buildings were built and owned by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, they did not have to conform to NYC building code.)

I agree with the "poorly constructed" part. I always hated going up those elevators (then escalator) and the design always felt like I was living in the 80's. The stairwell lighting as I remember it (1998) going from 62 to 64 a few times was a dim yellowish lighting.
I do have a slight sentimental attachment because of the time I worked there and many after work martinis I shared with my Dad at Windows on the World.
Totally off b/c I have no fit pic to share. It's been jeans and polos for quite a while.

Sorry for the poor quality, we didn't take a picture today. Went out for dinner and thought this was worth posting.

My first suit finally arrived yesterday; Samuelsohn in a Loro Piana 4 season super 130's. I couldn't be more pleased, I felt like a million bucks today:

I also got a new belt and tie to go with it:

If only you'd got some socks too...

This no socks and slippers with a suit thing...it's going to pass...never confuse fashion with style, and this is VILE!

BUT the suit is simply delightful (the slanted and ticket pockets will soon pass too, but not important) - lovely fabric, nice cut, love the way the lapels peak.  Good buy, sir!

This coat looks a tad short and a bit too large in the shoulders. The end result is the appearance of boxiness.

Looks like a 3-piece suit. You should definitely wear socks!

Thanks for the kind words, but as a man that enjoys making things your own I'll stick to my ways of zero socks until I'm in a boardroom... wait till the flannel and no socks comes out.

Its partly a southern thing, along with my admiration of "the WASP" culture, and with a tad of sartorial rebellion.

The Duke of Windsor a slightly stylish man had an affinity with slippers:

Ralph Lauren, another slight stylish man exactly my height of 5' 6" breaking every sartorial rule out there. 6 x 1 DB and slippers too boot:

Yeah here is a little better picture of the front, don't mind my half retarded expression:

Spoo my one short sleeve is due to my wrist junk which must have rode up as I usually cover it

SS, I am not trying to shit on your turtle, but these pics make your Samuelsohn look like a sack suit a size too large.

I think the angle of the photo is poor, until then I will only say that the over all aesthetic is too formal in contrast with the footwear. Cheers.
