I often have to stand on the tips of your fingers when shooting.

It is necessary, then, that you could just see me in the photo.

Very sad.

Bought it from Spoo for practically nothing. Vintage bespoke jacket, but it fits like a glove - it's almost as if it was made for me biggrin.gif

Pingson, the top comes off "fall" to my eye. Lots of yellow and brown and the light blue(?) shirt blends in nicely, as it could very well be a grey that is also very common that time of the year.
I like this very much!
On the other hand the bottom looks winter to me, given the very dark grey(?) trousers and black shoes. Very monochrome and as if there would be no light on the outside after all.
I think a mid grey pant would have worked better or maybe a brownish shade of creme/khaki that was not too close to the jacket, yet not such a stark contrast as the current choice.

Thanks for the comments. Yes, the trousers are dark grey flannel, worn with a pair of black jodhpur boots. I agree that lighter gray would probably have been better, but alas I don't own any lighter grey trousers. Will try with pairing the jacket pair of chocolate brown trousers next time I wear it.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Very refreshing to see single monks fing02[1].gif, they haven't received a lot of love here recently. Details?

Nothing too special, but great discount story.

I had received two rewards cards from DSW, one for $10 off that expired on August 31; and one for $5 off that went in to effect on August 31. So I had been waiting for a month and a half for that day so I could maximize my discount. I hit a few DSW's looking for the right pair of shoes. These are Florsheims, they were around $120 new, on sale for $89, then put on 70% off clearance. So all of that, plus my additional $15 off and I picked them up for $12. Felt pretty good about that one.

I know what you mean, but I'm just a sans tie kind of guy... especially in a world where you can go to a very nice restaurant and still find people wearing t-shirts, polos, and jeans.
