I like the theory, but it's a bit too much red for me.

Layering up with a bit of suede, a bit of cashmere, a bit of wool and a bit of bad hairstyle.

I think the zip-up layer is too bulky for this; makes the jacket pull a bit. Love the tie choice for the jacket though.

In hindsight, not so on board with today's tie choice. Should probably have gone earthy/tonal instead of contrasty/bold.

Yes! :slayer:

Really love the colours here, and I don't see the bad hairstyle.
Me today. I'm not sure if I'll join the bearded side of SF or if I'm just visiting.

Looking good, my friend. Looking good.

I like your outfit except for the colour of the trousers colour and probaby the shoes as well.
The trousers seem far too light coloured for the rest of the outfit, and should be black or dark blue IMO. I also think the shoes should be black.

Couldn't disagree more. Now, if you'd suggested changes to the tie, PS and shirt collar...

+1 :uhoh: Black shoes and black pants would be an insanely wrong combo totally wrong. Ive paired this with navy 5x before, with marginal success. Each time, someone suggested grey. Thanks for taking the time to comment though.

Grey ranging from light to mid is the right background for the great combo on top. You must have pulled the tie just before the shoot unless you literally are feeding it Viagra.

+1 on both
you pull the bowties off pretty well...

+1. I bought my first bow tie two years ago, but have never worn it. It's interesting that it usually looks costumey but some guys can do it and our Swedish kompis is one of them.

You are looking very dapper in your outfit and really handsome in that beard. Yeah

Dapper from head to foot. Liking the bow, the ticket pocket in the coat, and the double monks.

Thank you!

I take that as a compliment.

Well, try it on sometimes, you may yet come around. It can be more low key than a loud tie imho.

Also, thanks for the thumbs up guys!

imo, it's a 50:50 situation. generally these kind of jackets are difficult to pair. the black is very dominant in the pattern and black shoes are "never" out of place.

it's more a question of one wants to achieve with the combination.

Oh no! Snow! (In Michigan, we are expecting snow on Sunday. I need to shop for a new snow blower asap.)

Especially, I like the scarf. Nice duffel coat. A Hackett? That's a name unknown to me.
You show how to be in style even in cold weather.

Thanks! We have snow two weeks.
Hackett London... I like this brand. High quality and the pleasant prices.
