A shirt/tie combo I've worn before and really like despite the apparent clash. I only muster up enough foolhardiness to wear it once a year or two though... but I still like it when I do! :)

Same.  I wonder if it's just the camera or if it has the same effect in real life.

If it does have the same effect in real life I wouldn't even wear it once or twice a year. lol

Deets on tie? I'm wearing a pale blue shirt with a brown tie today too, but mine's more of a colour failure, I like yours...

Yesterday I put this jacket on for the pictures, today I'm officially wearing it as temperatures have calmed down a little 

Tie failure I think... this brown is too saturated and shiny.

BTW, any suggestions on what shirt to wear with this tie? It always manages to look off somehow, perhaps I should burn it...

I have one similar to Luftviers, but with a thin navy colored overcheck, which I like quite alot.

I have always felt a little uneasy about PoW check on shirting. It just seems like it should be for suiting alone. But I don't know that this is any more than an entirely subjective feeling.
