Clapy from the thumbs, shoes are the DC Lewis Clayton monks in mottled calf - technically incorrect as they should have been suede with this, but it was going to pour today, and I couldn't do the suede.

+ 1,000,000! Someone said in the casual thread, that some APCs weren't too tight, but I begged to differ. Of course, they are raw, so they will stretch, but I've owned APCs, and I know they wouldn't stretch enough, to make a nice, clean line down the leg. They were too tight in the knee area especially. Even with raw, if the trouser leg doesn't make a straight line down your leg, they are too tight. With raw, you just need, to get them as tight as you can, without loosing that line. Some people will disagree with me on this one, but it's a rule, that I try and follow.

Jeans are different IMO. Dress trousers look good when they have enough room to drape in a straight line, but jeans that do the same look kinda like dad's pants...

Gross exaggeration. It has significant fit issues, but "nothing" is wrong.

A day in NYC with relatively moderate temperatures and no threat of rain.

There was a last minute change of cufflinks - those in the close-up are from the Met Museum, those in the full-length shots are Deakin & Francis, enamel over engraved sterling silver , picked up recently at the relocation sale of a downtown jeweler.

Suit - Paul Stuart
Shirt - Tyrwhitt
Tie - JAB
Cufflinks - as described above
Shoes - Bergdorf Goodman house brand

No. If your APCs and your suit trousers fit the same, you're doing one of them wrong.
