@ spoo nice outfit, that belt looks too thin, though.

Thanks guys - and yes, I am aware I need to step up my belt game - soon....

I really like the color of those socks and trousers with the color of those loafers.

This is so cool that should deserve another mention.

I dig the ventless fit, it is so elegant that I will think about it in my future bespoke projects

Honestly, you look really cool.

Sweet jeebus. Do you really not know about the spoiler function? I like Butler's suit, too, but I got my fill when I read his post.

By the way, this dogmatic 'NO LOAFERZ WITH A SUIT' shit is dumb. It's all pretty subjective, so getting all snide and catty and being mean to a guy because he's alleviating himself of some dated sartorial punctilio is silly. Who the fuck died and made you captain of the loafer police?

How about instead of a categorical and definitive declaration that says 'never', say something like 'there is evidence to suggest that it isn't a tradition/convention', or 'personally, I feel that there is limited applicability for loafers in business dress' or even 'in my opinion, loafers are not appropriate'.

Or just say "I don't like the loafers" and leave that shit at that.

Then you don't understand, nothing rude at all about it? Looking like that, if he is going to the supermarket to buy some cheetos with that hat and outfit, maybe it's a bit funny (for me). He can dress how he wants I don't care? I just wanted to see if he was going to something important wear this is the outfit to be used.

also saying... "looking like that"
What do you mean by this, looking like what? Do you mean you wouldnt approve because it is not how you dress.
Again Behave.!!

Just a simple miss-communication gentlemen. Everything is fine. smile.gif

Had the same thought.

Hai guys, I'm off to the opera. See you in a bit!

That situation is just as strange and farfetched as, like Hampton's put it, a gentleman buying some Cheetos in a black tie outfit. There is nothing offensive about what he had said.

Tried to do four patterns today. Suit is a pinhead with a subtle pinstripe, shirt is herringbone.

The no loafers with suits is outdated. It was that way, but not anymore. I just think they look horrible in any situation, but in general I don't comment on them when I see them because you really can wear them in most any application despite me not liking them in any.

Just leave the tassels at home. k, thx.
