HOF: What Are You Wearing Right Now - Part III - Page 2272
Its not just short but too tight as well. The arms, shoulders, and chest are at least a size too small.
Hi! New here... hope I'm posting this in the right thread.
Recently promoted to a new position at work where I am required to wear suit/sportcoat and tie everyday. Wardrobe is definitely limited, as I haven't invested in any clothes of this type in a long while. Today I'm wearing:
Shirt: Roundtree & York Gold Label
Tie: Jos. A Bank Signature Series
Blazer: H&M
Still trying to figure out what kind of tie looks best with a spread collar... today I sported a 'Four in Hand'. Thoughts? (ps. I really hate the Windsor Knot)
O well it depends where you are brought up, We use traditional as common, official written language, same as TaiWan
Simplified version is an product from Mao's reign, it had never been existed until recent history

Personally I feel that with odd jackets and more casual wear the "rules of classic style" don't really apply that strictly. I wouldn't wear that at work, the shirt is made of chambray for God's sake. That's me having a stroll and getting an ice cream downtown with my girl friend. The main reason I like a tad short jacket is the same as I like having a bit too short sleeves - I think it does give a small help to us short (5'8") people. Also that's no where near fashion-short, it covers about 75% of my rear. The same with timo's jacket. If the jacket was as long as Japan Alex' jacket there, how would it look taking the other pieces into account?
For work I cover my ass (and yes, this is from the casual end of the week, but will work as an example here).

Also, dress codes are so different around the world. Here in Finland I'm by far the most formal in our office, which is without being too specific a business control department in a bigger company. If I worked in the UK or the US, I'd be in black toe caps and a leave the colorful silk home. Here however you can pull off brown suede and a bit more playfulness no problem. It's all so relative.Don't listen to anyone on here regarding the fit of your suit but YOURSELF! For real bro your shit is spot on! Especially in this look. The pants break "no break" perfectly. The suit looks like just the right length and personally I like loafers with a suit. Right on Bro (Y)

Good morning, sorry for meh mirror pic but it shows my proportions much better than the poorly angled timer cell phone pics. Been under the weather the last few days so was nice to dress in something other than shorts and a t-shirt. Viva Italia in the Olympics!

The length of the jacket on the wearer is fine. There's nothing wrong with it. I always wear 42S myself and I notice virtually all the newer suit jackets are shorter.
But I do think the left sleeve on the jacket needs to lengthened about half an inch.

It looks like a great jacket that would be pretty versatile. I like the color as it can be worn through mild autumn. I don't really see any fit issues, it looks like you had all of the right work done on it.
That won't stop the Germans from enjoying cheap medical/law/engineering university degrees in Austria

yes....cheap engineering indeed

If you want the picture to get a fair judgement you should really post a pic that shows the entire outfit. 4-in-hand is always the best knot imho, regardless of collar spread.

I've always wondered; you seem to be always leaning slightly forward in your photos. Is this due to bad posture or the angle of the photo? It makes you look like you have a hunchback.

Things like you are describing here are a reality of the RTW world, however it is not this simple. Sometimes you will have pull lines on a jacket, but guess what? It is not tight! 2 + 2 = 4, but so does 3+1, alas! Sometimes, you can have a smooth jacket that is tight. 4 + 0 = 4! Alas! There is more to fit than just "bigger" or "smaller." It has, to do with the fact, that we all have lumps, bumps and curves in different places, that will still be prominent in a bigger or smaller garment if of the same cut. If you are sticking to RTW, you have, to try on many brands and models until you find something, that is cut the best for your figure. Things should "feel" comfortable and be smooth, without the sacrifice of a sloven look.
At first, I thought I should bracket 'these are loose terms'/'you get the gist, of what I'm saying,' but I thought you'd all be smart enough, to figure it out. But, alas! (Let's see, if you're smart enough, to get that one, you condescending arse.)
Maybe he's built like Jonah Falcon and gravity's just taking hold.
