Romeo, we should go out for a drink one of these days... If TB doesn't mind, of course.

i am so confused by this post...

i love all kinds of beer and i like rums and whiskeys in particular and won't turn down anything

but really... i am confused...
not sure what TB (threadbearer?) has to do with it... and ... very random overall

Threadbearer calls it on these types of situations. It's sort of like the Godfather, but more serious and real.

That is correct.

Sorry for a random post Romeo. I just saw you were from LA and probably of similar age. Figured you might be interested in a mini-SF meetup. Maybe someone else would join in too.

oh you're around LA?
i am totally down for a meetup someday
maybe at the RL store on rodeo so you can give me a vote on whether i should buy the RLBL navy pindot suit or not

(i really shouldn't... bought new shoes, new suit, and "new" watch for the month already... but it looked and felt so GOOOOOOD)

so we need TB's blessing before we arrange this?

I'm IN LA, not around. :)

Some time next week, maybe? But let's take it to a PM. If anybody else is from LA and interested in a meet-up, please do join in.

Yep. Would be a shame to clog up this thread with some off topic stuff.

oh that NEVER happens around here

ace, let's wait for TB's blessing
then make a separate thread about it

are the black shoes the best choice here?
i feel like there is a much better color for this suit ...

and who/what bit your right hand?

I like one button on the overcoat better. Those shoes are awfully light for most suits (in the closeup you posted) and for most seasons. Why is your pocket square always so long horizontally?

the shoes are actually very dark chocolate brown
more accurate in the mirror full length shots than the shoe only shot
and here

and the ps looks extra long horizontally ...
partly because those lapels are so skinny
and partly because i try to fill the entire length of the pocket with the ps... i guess i should stop doing that

today's suit ... lapel is not as slim AND the pocket is not as wide
so it works out much better

Purple-ish suit. New shirts from Maxwell have arrived and finally the collar is good. Bonus gay Appreciation.

I apologize of my humble opinion offended you but I feel like if your pants were a little more tapered at the ankle it would be perfect since your jacket seems like a slim fitted one.

-could be. Stay tuned for orange.

burnt on the kettle. and cat scratches.

You're right, the shoes are fine. One pic they looked v. light.

i meant better color shoes to match the purple suit
