+1 on this outfit would be great with a bengal stripe and no tie. really good use of textures otherwise though

Also, a one month StyFo summer moratorium on grenadine ties would be useful.

Except for unlined fina's smile.gif.

Fret not - any ties with non-reflective surfaces will always be welcomed by the locals - it's neckties with a definite surface sheen that make the locals a non-coordinated shade of angry red.

Drinking early due to this would be the silver lining, no? It is Friday, after all.

I am far too inexperienced/naive/young to really joke about the oversaturation of grenadines but I have found, in my limited experiece mind you, that I prefer solid color knit ties if I want a solid tie with texture. Just my two cents, or did I miss the flood of those 3 years ago?

Hey, I'm already drunnking, sirrsz. smile.gif

BTW, Polo's Regent shirts with stiff collars almost make stays redundant. Tis why I like it teh stiff collar.

What I did find interesting is that there are different iterations of PRL's collar stays. Some flat and some in 3D. The made in Italy shirts have teh 3D ones, far nicer than the ones that come with the RLPL shirts, to reiterate an earlier point I made. Somewhere.

WPPUR.

Resume.

I too like the stiff PRL collars. Good for wearing with a tie or standing up on their own. They also seem to have the perfect amount of spread for my face. I generally like the Custom Fit Made in Italy PRL iterations, though. Nicer fabric and construction.

I like stiff collars, but I like them to be unfused so that by the end of the day they are a bit rippley with some curvature to them. Like so:

Agreed. While all of the Made in China PRL shirts have fused collars, I have found that some of the PRL Italy shirts aren't fused. It seems to be hit or miss, which is weird.
