Spoo, great costume, or great mask at least. Where´s the jacket from? It looks very familiar, like I´ve seen it a lot before, specially on Mr. Porter.

Thanks, what mask? The jacket is a shearling from Barneys Co-op, maybe 10 years ago.

the suit is black with white pin stripes. the tie is navy with pink dots. The hat is a grey felt fedora with a black ribbed bag. The cufflinks are an old pair from ANSON that I found for $3 in an antique store. the glass is lead crystal with what is left of my first glass of Johnny Walker Black tonight. the pocket square color is a beautifully vibrant red, which the photo fails to capture. Realize that the jacket fits very well, but this was taken from an odd angle. Below the waist, Allen Edmonds Black Leather Brogues.
I forgot it was Halloween, and so when people asked my my costume, I was going to say that I was the 1%, but a friend of mine beat me to it. So, I was a British Banker, which would have been more convincing with a bowler and an umbrella.

Had a GREAT time last night with TTO; Kirby; MalfordofLondon; Niidawg3; bengal-stripe and Barims. Since it was Halloween; 6 gents playing "dressed up" didn't cause much of a stare.

Kirby runs The Hanger Project and was like me; a visitor from the States. The locals were very hospitable and we chatted the night away discussing any and all topics sartoriale. We met at The Burlington Arms which is a charming English pub down the street from A&S and right at the corner of the Drake's store. And yes - MalfordofLondon did come bearing gifts ... i made away with a gorgeous tie i am wearing today and everyone else got a hand-rolled pocket square. It was a great time, and hopefully I can squeeze in time to meet some of these fine gents again before i head back across the Atlantic.

Without further ado ... here are a couple shots. Gents - you are all extremely handsome; but let me know if you want your face edited out for one reason or the other.

I'm attending a members' reception for the re-opening of the Islamic wing at the Met Museum this evening, hence the extra layers of pretense in my attire today. Eolus would have a field day with this posting - were he still here with us.
