Thanks for all the comments guys...my first real Fresco experiment. Def pic this stuff up if you get the chance. It was 95 and humid yesterday, and I was only mildly uncomfortable and only removed the jacket once for a four block walk after being outside in it for 45 minutes.

My first Tom Ford suit. I'm crying because I realized that my pose was messed up the moment The Mrs took the photo.

^Looks very good. However, it is unfortunate how much it looks like a suit supply suit to me...

Can't remember the last time I was on here on a weekend. I'm very glad I didn't miss this. Great execution, Rob. Also glad to hear you are so pleased with the fabric. Just had a Minnis fresco made up as well. It is sublime.

I'd actually like to revisit this in the hopes that someone can enlighten me.

I'm sort of trying to get my head around this. Those creases would be unattractive on a lined tie, wouldn't they? Does the fact that the wearer knows it's unlined make them attractive?

I once witnessed an exchange on /fa/ where someone ridiculed a cartoonish Sartorialist photo (adjective redundant?) of a guy wearing a bright pink motorcycle jacket. The response was something along the lines of "OP doesn't realize the jacket is Comme des Garçons". I'm curious if this sort of thing is similarly worn as a communication between "insiders" at the expense of making a different impression on everyone else?

I'm biased so take my comments with a grain of salt. I think in certain fabrics those ties look good if you are wearing them in a casual outfit. Summer sportcoat with a tue like that in linen/cotton/something textured. A cord suit with a tie like that in wool etc.

When I see a hand rolled tip tie worn with a business suit, I cringe. But they are very popular, the double monks of ties.

When you shave your face, do you shave your neck?

Heading out for a casual dinner. Slowly trying to expand my horizons, and figured the "overdressed security guard" was as good a place to start as any... Not sure if the jacket is too "suity" and the square is too matchy. Pants could probably use shortening too.
