The lower camera angle of the "Today" pics is a marked improvement. Keep doing that. The contrast between jacket and slacks looks a bit low (and therefore bland) to me, but I often find that's the kind of thing that looks much better in real life than in photos.

On the other hand, the heavy weight of the jacket, not to mention the addition of the sweater, looks incongruous with the light weight of the khakis -- a mistake I recently made myself. :D Where'd ya get that jacket, by the way? I like it.

Thanks for the tip on the camera angle, TB. I'll keep trying it. I know the khakis, both in color and weight, aren't the best choice for a tweed jacket, but I don't have anything better in my closet right now. What should I be wearing with the jacket? Grey flannel, maybe? Jacket is a Haspel that I picked up at Gabriel Brothers.

that's what I thought...I placed my order yesterday as they have another 25% promo end of this month....I need to find good suede beaters like that..Thanks
