That's exactly my problem. The Milanos are the only BB suits that fit me, but until they start offering them with man-sized lapels I'll pass.

I have better luck with Suitsupply's Napoli cut. Canvassed Vitale Barberis Canonico for $469 is hard to beat, too.

I tell them, "fuck black fleece," and they like me more, for some reason. Even the NY flagship did not stock Milano's in my size (36), btw.

Yeah, I agree. I am starting to appreciate larger lapels than the current trend now. The more you learn. Maybe they will eventually appeal to that.

Cruz, my canvased you mean half canvas? Are they worth checking out for non-staple suits? suit supply I am referring too. Is the buttoning point high?

From what I remeber the buttoning point was pretty low.. at least for my standards.

I do find taht places like BB and Suit supply tend to have suits that don't fit me in any way. It's pretty frustrating considering the fact that they are pretty decent priced canvased suits.

I don't know, man, I'm not an expert.

They have a whole range of cuts; I like the Napoli precisely because the buttoning point isn't high and they have proper lapels. I am a fan of their non-staples too. Check out their website. The important thing I've learned about SuitSupply is that their cuts all fit quite differently. I went in expecting to love the Washington, which is Tom Ford...uh..."inspired" with 5 cuff buttons and a drop of 8. But it just didn't fit me right; Napoli does with minimal tailoring.

That's not a blazer Bud. Blazers by definition, have metal buttons and patch side pockets.

plain.gif I hate when sales reps do that. I was at neimans buying some overpriced designer sunglasses for a friend and he starts trying to convince me to buy a pair of chrome hearts. They were like 8k plain.gif WTF

IMHO this has to be one of the best outfit posts ever on SF. You look impeccable in "Semi-Morning Dress."
