You can't know this because of how new you are here, but I shine in the face of criticism. It is perhaps my only specialty.

Let's get one a few thing sorted ;-

1. You not wearing pants, you may also be wearing pants underneath, but you are wearing trousers.

2. Your trousers are not baggy by any means, they are beautifully styled and drape beautifully, complete with perfect break.

That is my opinion.

This pair of shoes however need more of a heel. They look as if the heel has worn down through use . You appear down on heel and up on toe. The trousers length in this pic, were not adjusted for these shoes.

Only term worse than pants I hear is the term slacks to describe trousers. I can't stand it. We are pretty casual here down under, and we usually join words together for our slang e.g we say howyagarn instead of how are you going, but men wear trousers and women wear pants, that's all. But Dean, this could just be our non US commonwealth nation upbringing too.

Thanks for the explanation. In my case, English isn't my native language and it's good to make corrections like this :)

All it takes for you to stop using a completely legitimate word is some random dudes (no offense) aversion?

both pants and slacks qualify as words in the american english language. pants are the same as trousers. slacks are the trousers of a suit. but to each his own.
