I am generally not a fan of AE shoes, but those look surprisingly good.

  • Thank you all for your kind words. As sad it may be to loose a loved one it is life... My grandfather had a great life and I am sure he is in a good place.

Spoo, your Friday outfit, even by your exemplary standars, was superb. I have seen many complement you on your excellent fits, but what impresses me more is that you mix a variety of different brands into a distinct style. I was particularly impressed with your single pleated Gieves navy suit the other day, a brand that I have always considered somewhat old fashioned and not that well cut, but which looked magnificent and which I would not have expected you to own.

Could please give some insight into your buying process and how you go about putting outfits together. I would find it very interesting. Do you just go with your gut or is it more analytical?
