It was a rainy day, I was experimenting. The light really does not help the pocket square, it's not actually that bright...

So you know how some Native American tribes have a "rain dance", well this is my attempt at a "Spring dance" to appease the Spring gods and help get rid of some of this shit weather.  My coworker described the pants as "creamsicle" color, which I think is about as accurate as you can get.  Hard to tell, but the shirt is a light blue POW with a very faint large yellow overcheck.  Haven't yet decided whether I want to bring the pants out some to get more of a break.

That seems like an exceptionally dank setting for a party (it looks like a nursing home) but good work snagging the ladies. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

I hope you can forgive me for nitpicking an otherwise fine ensemble, Anden, but your feet look like aircraft carriers in this image. Wearing slacks with wider leg openings might make your feet look more proportional to rest of you.

I know it's the back blade showing, but that makes the tie look freaking huge.

ianGP,

That outfit is freaking awesome and there is some purple details on the inside of the jacket, correct? So nice! I'm glad you used a TF ps here otherwise I go crazy biggrin.gif!

+1. "Twisted knots" should only be attempted with skinnier ties. And definitely not with a tie bar (IMO). For example:

Something about your proportions makes your outfits look off. I can't really pinpoint what it is. At first glance I say you could use a shorter jacket, but I don't think that would work. I think taking some of the fullness out of the sleeves would help, but I just can't put my finger on what isn't right.
