.... so is an attitude that keeps quiet when someone more senior posts something amiss. ...
Good on ya. Regarding the "senior" thing: having > 5K posts (or X posts, you decide what constitutes "senior") makes you no more an authority on fit and style than a cat having kittens in an oven make them biscuits. Like other n00bs, I look at someone's post count and think, "Hell, if he has that many posts he MUST be an expert." Not so, obviously. I've learned a lot here. I continue to get more comfortable with my own choices. One day, after a cocktail or two, I'll post a pic and stand back for the onslaught. Until then, I'll continue to read, look, learn, enjoy, ignore the obvious flaws and snarky comments and maybe stick my neck out once in awhile to add a comment. Who knows, maybe after a long time I'll have the requisite number of posts to be considered an expert too. :satisfied:

I feel that to criticize ones fits you need to post your own pics to give your point(s) more gravity. I could be wrong but I tend not to listen to the kitonbrionis in here...

I have noticed your posts. Your coats are often too short, this one looks a bit better. Do you feel comfortable in the coat because the photo doesn`t give off that impression? But who knows.

The tie is not nice in my eyes, although I do not like diagonal ties in general. The one you have makes you look like a republican. The bourgeois backdrop of what could be limestone or cheap ceramic does not do you any favours either. The shoes, looks like your little toe is trying to burrow out of there. Who makes them?
I wouldn't mistake the last of AE Park Avenues for anything else. It's quite unpleasant to my eye. Please, correct me if I'm wrong.
Thanks Derek, I need to get off my lazy ass and post more fits..........but it's so time consuming............and so little fun for me.........................
If you want to criticize others and act like a style guru, please prove that you're able to throw an outfit together first.

+1. It's becoming like FNB up in here.

Thanks guys - I'm happy for now to have my comments stand on their own merit.

You are welcome to either judge them based on their merit or ignore them as you wish.

Have I said something that you wish to disagree with? If so, I'm happy to discuss it further if you are.

What shoe size do you wear? Did you find these comfortable when you first bought them? It looks like you might go up at least one width.

Way back when, there was a "pattern" contest. A bunch of people posted fits with multiple patterns, I think Manton was the "judge". There were even prizes. NORE got upset because he had on a budget fit (that looked good though) He thought that he should have won based on the price to value of his fit. He's come a long way. Trust.

I swear this has to be a ninja edit. HTF did you know I was going to go there? It's not like it's my legacy here or anything :uhoh:

I like this a lot. Wish the shirt stripes were more blue than brown and wish the collar fit better so that you can really pop a serious knot on that tie but the pattern mixing is superb (even though I hate plaid ties). I'm going to usurp Manton's authority and say that you are the leader right now.

Yeah, that's right. Let him live...

I keeps ish real.
