@ Kappelan I really like what you posted here in the past, may I ask what jacket size you wear and what your shoulder to shoulder measurement would be?

I appreciate that but I certaintly don't think I deserve such praise nor do I want to create a schism on the forum due my mid to low tier jacket fits. Everyone could use some tweaks and I want to learn as much as I can. Part of that is recieiving constructive critcism which I will never shun. Thanks again though. I was not offended or wronged in anyway and I appreciate your praise as much as other's suggestions on how to improve.

Fully agree!

Kappelan: As I am a little bit curious, could you maybe provide details on your height and weight?

Spoo: Details on the tie you are wearing on your most recent pics (page 1802) ?

Thanks!

Kappelan, have you slimmed down your jackets in the past year? Your fits seemed to have improved a lot, but I can't put my finger on the reason why.

Thanks!

Thanks all, for your comments and thumbs.

This tie (today, not sure what page you are on due to reading configs being different) is a Drake's bicolor grenadine garza grossa.

THis is a post work shot, so everything's a bit wrinkled. There are patterns on both the pants and the jacket, see the closeup shot. Too much?

No problem with early debut of the summer suit, but I think you'll agree that a more generous lapel would be more flattering and in keeping with the proportions of your collar and tie.

How did your students and colleagues react to this today?
And, one more thing (Click to show)
I see that you're taking o/o's counsel on summer hosiery...

IMO, the tie is too shiny for the rest of that outfit.

Thanks for the comments today everyone.

I am taking this SC to my tailor tomorrow. I plan on letting out the waist a bit so it doesn't "flare" open below the buttoning point so much. In particular, the back sides of the jacket tend to bump out, leading to an odd crinkle and slight pull at the button. I am also thinking I may need to size up a bit in the chest. Will try on a 41 or 42 to see how it fits for future purchases down the road.
