I think I get the look you're going for here, and it's eye-catching. For me, the tie you've chosen isn't quite congruent with it though. A knit in the same colour(s) might have pulled it all together better.
Shame your pics are so difficult to make out, because I think your fits may be good. If you get the chance to take a shot somewhere there's a little more light, it would be interesting to see.
