What was the title of that book about dog training--"No Bad Dogs" by Barbara Woodhouse? Perhaps it is time for a sequel: "No Bad Pocket Squares"

I love the finds from my grandpa´s closet :-)

You might be right about the PS. I figured it would make a nice contrast to the jacket and still be in line with the rest.

The blue blazer/white shirt/PS was one of my summer staples last summer :-)

While I like, very much, the pocket square, I'm not convinced it works with this tie, and perhaps, it is too similar to the shirt. Maybe, a plain white linen PS with a light gray border would work better. I'd love to see that pocket square on a blue blazer against a white shirt. That would be stunning.

Hot colors for a cold morning - it's just below freezing here in NYC. I've changed backgrounds a bit, hoping that the color balance will be a bit better against my bookshelves, rather than my mirror.

Suit - BB Regent
Shirt - Lewin
Tie - Andrew's Ties
PS - Robert Talbott
Cufflinks - The London Badge and Button Co.
Shoes - Finsbury, Paris
Overcoat - BB
Scarf - Fortnum & Mason
Hat - Selentino

^^ I obviously like the colors here, however there is something about the button stance and the really open chest that I don't like. It makes the suit look too big, but it doesn't appear to be. You need a more crooked neck point. devil.gif

I don't think I will ever like bowties outside of black tie.

Very nice upr! But for me it would be nicer with black shoes. Do you change your rings with your outfits sometimes or do you have one on the other hand too, anyways like them too!

Just some accessories that I treasure.

Black shoes would have been a good alternative for today's suit, but I wear black shoes enough as it is, and these fora tend to favor brown shoes over black, in the main.

As for my rings, currently I tend to wear the green tourmaline most often, but occasionally revert to the lapis lazuli cabochon when wearing the cufflinks which match it. On weekends, I wear my late husband's flat-stoned lapis ring, as it's less bling-y than either of my other two rings.

Sorry, the bow-tie with that pullover is just bad. Your fits have been pretty good recently, so this is a rare complete miss, I think.

Accepted! I'm getting a closer picture for how you are upr_crust! But it's alot fun to see your outfits here, very vintage and it suits you very well I must say.
