I actually like both these looks, and am trying to figure out why I don't love them. So far, the closest I've got to an answer is something about the shirt in the first, and something about the square in the second. Can anyone else help me out with what I'm feeling here? Or is it all in my head?

I thought purple label would be your basic beater lol

Not a fan of the H&M shoulders

Absolutely amazing country style. The white plain shirt gives a more urban look. Maybe with a tottershall shirt would be atonishing.

About tie, it's actually classic, simple and at the same time marvelous.

Greetings from BCN,

Thanks, got it from our B&S! I'm totally into Barba's now. Next to try are Panta's and Vanda.

haha yeah, I agree the shoulders are not the greatest... this suit was bought pre-SF and for a $100, I've gotten my money's worth on it wink.gif

In Sitges, just south of Barcelona on the Mediterranean. The weather was great on Friday.

Barbour quilted, Persol 714s, Borelli shirt, Paul Stuart mocassins, and an old pair of earnest sewn denim.

In the first, I think it's the cardigan that's throwing things out of wack. Otherwise, it's a straightforward CBD look, and then that cardi gets in there and... The PS in the second is too similar to the tie.

I interviewed with GS in Jersey City the week before they laid of 7-10% of their workforce, unfortunately I'm analyst/associate level, rather than Greg Smith's vacated VP position.
