To me, the subsequent posts attempting to "defend" your look seem to miss the point.

It seems to me that that the critiques are emphasizing fit and proportion while Shah's defense is emphasizing the importance of specific brands, plus a few references to designers. The arguments are thereby flying past each other instead of landing on their marks.

It starts at 4:06. Unbuttoned, no less! Thanks, I look a lot like Brosnan, don't I? wink.gif

You boys have been busy overnight, I can see, from the number of posts - the natives are obviously restless.

Something simpler, as an antidote to yesterday's grandiosity

SC, PS & shirt - BB
Tie - Barney's
Trousers - JAB
Boots - Cheaney, via Harrod's

Interesting last few pages. We need more MC-SW&D interaction.

1+. And a place to post Corbera's MC Manifesto.

Really cool looks lately gents. I love the blend we have of winter stuff and spring stuff and some great philosophical discussion of aesthetics and intentions of dress. This forum is fascinating as a student of the mind. No fit pictures for me today, as I am on vacation this week. I'll be coming back with some (better) fitting s/s wear soon!

I'm like Spoozy minus 23 years and from the South Eastern United States. I work in a menswear store similar to Sid Mashburn, so I can get away with bright colors, crazy pattern matching and the likes.

Is that thing alive? ... Referring to the brilliant cashmere, not the barking document holder.
