Things I learned while getting dressed this morning, by SpooPoker :

1. Ancient Madder is extremely difficult to photograph with an iPhone.
2. I need to drop like 5lbs.
3. Simmonot-Godard cotton is straight sechs.
3. The Simpson last from Carmina is my favorite thing since I discovered Gaziano & Girling. Seriously.
4. I really love the Armoury. Thanks to Ethan for getting me these shoes!

Happy Friday guys.

those shoes are beautiful. who's the maker of your suit?

5 pounds ain't much my friend - you can lose that after one long run (albeit in water weight). get concerned when you need to lose 15+ .

Winter has begun.

Bit of "casual" friday here. Also, trying to find a good way to do full-length shots.

x2 on both

I drop three pounds between post supper and pre breakfast. Maybe my body is weird? :eh:

I need a pair of suede captoes, but do I need suede double monks more? hmmmmm

Edit: Liking the SC BU! I also like that you are going sans tie, makes me feel better about not wearing one

Kevinsp8 said "This outfit made me smile, 'cause it looks like you let go of all the SF groupthink and went with an outfit that is your own style. Was sad to see the tie maybe really isn't hot pink. And the pocket watch with compass attachment... gets my first Even back in the oldie days the boys liked their gadgets, eh. I might have subtracted the ring in this instance. Or a smaller one."

Thank you, Kevin. As much as I've learned in posting here (sometimes in rather painful ways), I do like my own aesthetic, at least on occasion. The tie is loud enough in orange-red and bright blue :) - hot pink would have been one step beyond. The watch chain is an "heirloom" - a find made while cleaning out my late father's house - the watch is a modern replacement, a present from a very good friend of mine. The ring is a constant - I wear it virtually every day. For me, it's visual background noise, though perhaps a little less bling would have been a shade more tasteful.

the dreaded bathroom shot - this collar/tie combo is not gonna make a lot of people happy, but so be it:

and suede shoes from yesterday, in case anyone is interested. the suit shots came out even worse than this, so perhaps another time.

I'm not concerned with page-loading time, more with having to scroll through acres of repetitive images. My favorite is when the OP is considerate enough to use a spoiler for the deets, but subsequent commenters remove the spoiler tags. Sweet...
I disagree with you mister. The reason I come here is to see the images of these amazing men who dress so well that they inspire me to do better myself. They say an image is worth 1000 words, so please guys, dont use spoilers at all, show me the details, because thats what i have come here to see. The close ups of your tie knots, and close ups of the various fabric colours and texture makes all the difference. So again, please guys, dont use spoilers because then i would have to click, click, click everytime i want to see the details that you have taken so much time to photgraph in the first place.
I believe you misunderstand me, sir. I have no problem with the original poster's full display of images. My issue is with subsequent posters who quote the OP and don't hide the images.

Casual Friday? :D
I like how the suit reads as conservative from a distance, but then goes all blingy up close.
