Very good!

Excellent photo! Qualitatively, a very good shot and the shooting angle!

On a jacket: it can slightly adjust the tailor? I think, make a shelf on the chest a little narrower. The width of the arms a little wider. Then the folds of tissue will not.

There is another option - to make a shelf on the chest a little wider. Make coat "draped" over a wide option.

This is just my opinion. Good luck!
Thanks for your thoughts, Victor. I think I may leave this one as is. I see what you mean, though. Probably just needs a pressing :embar:
UC - that's a dammed fat knot.
It's a thick cashmere, but yeah, it could've probably been tightened :lookaround:
Very good, UC. Maybe a bit too much smoothing in post, though? I presume that you got some low-light noise and were trying to spare us.
I need a better camera

love it man. You shouldve bought a ton more of those ties. I want one. :inlove:

I'll take a dozen :bigstar:

several people have expressed interest in the ties
i think i should take a trip out to korea and stock up and resell them (at a modest markup)
if i get enough ties to fill 2 suit cases, maybe it will be enough to fund my plane ticket :slayer:

The ties in Korea are so terribly gaudy. I suppose they're okay if you like glitter and sequins on your men's clothing... Then again, that might sell well to certain niche markets.

The tie without jacket comes off as High School Senior Interviews At Best Buy.

Subject to geographical location and profession? If I wore a jacket here (daily) I'd come off as pretentious and overbearing.

Noice! But now I'm wondering how many guys, like PG, knot their ties AFTER flipping down their shirt collars. I always knot first, then flip. Does that peg me as an amateur?

White shoes after Labor Day? I am appalled, sir.

I know you're just kidding, sb, but it's worth saying here that I dress for the climate, not for the calendar. The summer heat finally seems to have broken today, though, so alas, the white bucks are on their way into storage.

Feel ya :slayer:.

I work in a place where if I wore a coat and tie it would be assumed I had an interview elsewhere and I'd have a lot of explaining to do. That said, I do prefer the jacket and no tie look over the tie and no jacket. I feel the tie and no jacket has a less natural/stylish look to it versus a jacket and no tie. I try to wear a jacket most everyday.

PG takes us to next level WAYWRNS once more...

Very cool video. I noticed that he knotted his tie with his collar down. I always keep my collar up. Am I wrong to tie it with my collar up? Does it make for a better knot with the collar down?

Collar up allows me to get a better feel of tie length and lets me tie the knot closer to my neck IME. Unless you have the touch of PG or Spoo (we'll call this "the hand of God") and somehow always have the perfect length and knot location, I think collar-up is easier. It also can be a ***** to fold your collar back down once the top button is buttoned.

Not to mention how cool you look while tying your tie...

no you're not wrong, its just harder to turn the collar down, especially if its stiffer, once the top button is buttoned
