Spoo, I'll trade you a plain white cotton square for your corbera disapproved SC.

Edit: I should probably let everybody know that I just threw this on for the pic and I am not wearing any pants. I knew you all would like that.

I need to move towards minimalism like you, and I like that you're with me boycotting pants.

I think you can step out of your comfort zone with a diaphanous white cotton hanky in etamine or voile pushed almost all the way in.

I am wearing pants though, does that inch me in front?

Pantsless is fashion forward.

I have been saying for weeks now that you've been missing a Pocket Square.
A white cotton square fold would do wonders here.

The rest of the outfit looks very good as usual.

Looks pretty good Patrick, maybe a slightly wider tie with larger knot to suit your lapel width.

and then of course it's just the hair that gets in the way all the time. shog[1].gif

Nothing a good cut, thinning out and style couldn't fix!! icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Would probably still need a goodish dab of gel to keep it all together though. nod[1].gif

Homage to my grandfathers.

The tie is a wool tie from Créations Lavredoes. Belonged to my mother's father. Probably from the sixties.

The lapel pin is a tie pin that belonged to my father's father.

The rest:

Suit - Oscar Jacobson

PS - Portia

Shirt - The Shirt Factory

Belt - Tiger of Sweden

Shoes - C&J

Response: Thanks for the kind comment, but I hate you--madras shorts and polo. happy.gif It is such a beautiful afternoon; I want to be outside!

Overall fit, albeit murky:

As understated as your outfit is with all of its elements working very harmoniously together, your tie stands out as being especially sublime. Quite aristocratic. Where can I buy one just like that?

Is it Drakes of London? I was thinking of buying a tie there.

Spoo, one day will you have a peak lapel 2 button chalkstripe suit with a peak lapel double breasted waistcoat made so I can marvel at it? Please!!!!!

I would love to see this outfit again but preferably with a light flannel charcoal trouser...maybe herringbone. Also a different pocket square maybe yellow or purple would go very nicely with the green tie. Maybe even a red and yellow paisley pocket square. Just some thoughts.
