HOF: What Are You Wearing Right Now - Part III - Page 1565

I much prefer taking pictures outside. Indoor lighting sucks, even compared to an overcast day. The sportcoat is a pale brownish grey and the windowpane is white and brown. Pants are "british khaki" incotex and a bit darker than the pic. I picked up my new shirt from the cleaners hoping for some shirt shrinkage in the sleeves, no beuno, so have to get them tailored. FWIW my most FUsportcoat...

Edit: Thanks for all the comments in the last few days gentlemen, much appreciated!

Have a good friday all.

Something I suspect quite polarising for a Friday... devil.gif

I don't think this works at all. The sweater doesn't contrast nicely with the pants and a softer, matte tie would work better than the silk tie you've selected.

ETA: I like the sweater, though.

"Some very cool textures here. Perhaps a tie with a dissimilar pattern to jacket would be even bettr"

A fair point, Doc. I wanted a wool tie, and the solids felt insufficiently interesting, and the tartans felt like too much. The herringbone's fuzziness won out over its sameness.

Very nice, sb, but when are we going to start seeing full shots of you again? At the very least, please include a pic of yourself from the knees down so that we can see your choice of slacks, shoes, and socks.

The only time the light is sufficient to get a decent shot is in the morning, and getting the kids to school takes precedence. I wore mid/dark-gray worsted flannel trousers, fine-patterned socks in colors similar to the tie, and black captoe bluchers. In retrospect, brown wingtips might have made me happier, but I liked it nonetheless.

Between the beard and the generous, vibrant tie, you're looking a little Dr. Feelgood today. biggrin.gif

This has to be one of the most hectic weeks of my life. I'm drained. Anyway, a big TGIF.

frown.gif Blame incotex and my thigh muscles, makes finding slim pants that fit in the thigh and seat a total bitch. If I were Acrid I would make some comment about my epic manhood but I don't have the spreez for that.

We can't help you with that but they are in the process of developing new drugs that might.
