came home and threw it on for some pictures
loving it

my signature pose

at first i asked for 2" cuffs then chickened out and settled for 1 3/4th inch
wearing my new peal/C&J brown captoes
a whole lotta pictures (Click to show)

loro piana fabric

i could stand a little more erect ... difficult to gauge when taking a picture of myself from behind

i did virtually nothing in terms of alterations - shortened one sleeve by less than 1/4", added buttons, did not touch the waist of jacket at all
took in pants waist and cuffed the bottom
i know the jacket is still a tad short ... but that's how the milano is cut, right?
That style of felted material and the sorta rough hewn stitching on the SC, is there a word for that because I love that look and can't figure out how to describe it. TBH why don't you just will me the entire wardrobe?
I'll fess to it. I like the competing herringbones. Come to think of it, I just generally like your fits. I hate you, though, because I can't pull that off.

If you don't like how it looks, don't wear it. Just because BB Milano is "supposed" to be short doesn't mean that you have to like it that way.
It's like when I go to a brick-and-mortar to try on suits, and the salesmen tell me that I should wear a shorter, "european-cut" jacket, just because I'm young. I don't care what the young men in Europe wear - I don't have to follow a trend blindly!
Just thought I'd throw that out there. ![]()

picked up my new BB milano navy pinstripe today

The button stance is too high for me
If I'm wearing a jumper/cardigan, you're unlikely to see my shirt sleeve cuffs. My jumpers have sleeves longer than my shirt sleeves - and this is how I want it. On a site where some people demand their shirt sleeves be longer than their overcoat sleeves, this may be unusual.
Given how stuffed the jacket sleeves look, a solution might be sleeveless jumpers.
