+1... that the tie is closer in color to the trousers is a unique spin on the casual fit. It's muted and wintry but not bad by any means.

Do suede boots count? OR do they have to black Chelseas:embar:?

Your fits keep getting nicer and nicer, but, with the top one, hitch the pants up a bit; they are a tad long (~1 inch). Top jacket fits you better than previous ones. smile.gif Personally, I wouldn't wear a spread with the cotton (is it?) jacket. Both ties and squares compliment each other nicely.

You have a very nice living room, what are the volumes on the shelves? It also looks like you can pull off the hat, I like it.

Hi and welcome! The tie maybe should be smaler tied and a dimple would be good :) I dont know about the hat looks ''pimpy'' I think you should lose it. Nice coat and the coulor on the tie and the shirt goes well together. And the suit what quality is that? Looks a bit thick but I dont know really.

I tie a "Hanover" knot that doesn't dimple.. I have always just liked it that way..

Ouch about the hat, though! Lol! It's just a stingy brim fedora... not pimpy at all - 1/14" brim.. Gotta have a good hat..

Suit is of medium quality, but tailored nicely for me.. Fabric is actually pretty thin, but good year-round warmth..

Love it! Constitutional law was my absolute favorite course in college.

Nice acquisition! It's a classy touch.

I have an affluent Uncle who owns a exorbitant upscale home in Connecticut. He had similar looking volumes on the shelves of his home but they were American classics. I was miffed and dismayed upon opening them to realize they were decorational, blank-paged books.

Ha, I recognized them as reporters immediately (though I thought they were F.Supp reporters)...can't mistake those bad boys.  A lot of smaller organizations/firms are getting rid of their old reporters since everything is on Westlaw/Lexis-Nexis now, so the really ambitious could probably find some if they wanted them for free or close to free.  Only the true diehard old school lawyers still look to the reporters, but they can be a godsend for basic stuff if you don't have westlaw/lexis access.

Tone it down a little, Alex, and consider your audience. CP is one of our classiest members and you're making him blush. Me, too. shog[1].gif

This is waaaaay nit-picky of me, Citan, but I'd rather see shirt cuffs at your wrists than sweater cuffs. peepwall[1].gif
