Sorry, Dig. I own a tripod and am kind of sensitive about it. shog[1].gif

I like it except for the square. Too close to the shirt color, imo.

I buy a lot of old stock (old, like from the 50's, 60's and 70's) from stores here in Sweden. This particular strap is from such a stock. I think you can get a better view in this pic: Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Thank you guys and also for the ones that liked yesterday. I'll be honest I don't have a big rotation at the moment, only 3 suits and 3 coats and I lost a big chunk of my wardrobe when I went from a 38 to a 40 last winter. But I think as long as you have plenty of variety in those and plenty to swap around with (shirts/ties etc) it's still possible to get different but consistent looks everyday. I do have 2 really nice Caruso coats on the way at the moment though....

Todays, with continued crappy photo's due to the torrential rain we have had most of this week. Suit is Messinni, Shirt is an grey striped ALEA button down and tie is my own. Shoes are black Loake 1880's.

Stupid Droid! It took my comment about looking "trad" and corrected it to "trade". Sheesh.
So, in a better way, may I use this means to praise today's sartorial excellence. This shows, nicely, that a crisp button down with a neat tie can work well with a suit. The pocket square adds a touch of pizzazz.

Got no response on the tailors thread, sleeves seem a little long.

Bud your biggest problem is your stance, you are all hunched up. Put your shoulders back, chest out, chin up and in. Stand up straight.
Look like you virile and alive, It looks as if you are about to fall forwards onto your face.

Then you can start thinking about the suit. Others have already said a lot about it.

I was wearing toned-down Leap Day colors, and I didn't want to do a yellow PS with a yellow tie.

Thank you, cp, but for the record, that's a blazer. Not pictured are the charcoal slacks.

I love paisleys, both neat and large-scale, but there's something about this particular tie that is unfortunately spermy.
