'avoirdupois' - never hear that term before and used sooo elegantly!! Thanks, Crusty Needless to say, I had to look it up!!

Speaking of excess avoirdupois, I wore today's suit on March 7th last, at which time I was roundly excoriated for the quality of the fit. I made alterations to me, instead of the suit - today's fit is better, IMHO.

FWIW, and have at it, fellow posters - current is on the left, March 7th on the right.

The shoes are from Bergdorf Goodman - their own house brand - and I believe that I snatched them up in their clearance sales a year ago last winter. I wish that I would have snatched the black version as well, but they disappeared much too quickly.

Thanks, RG - it's a work in progress - another five pounds, and I'll be happy (or happy enough) -then, to maintain the loss (easier said than done).

So long as the Acerbic Ovine is jumping the fence, and not merely being put out to pasture, I believe that congrats are in order - best of luck and congratulations.

No. In fact, the new office has more carpet than the house.

This really looked best with my black and white longwing specs...but the boss is in the office and I don't feel like hearing the "costume" comments today.....
