Didn't notice the knot until I took pics and too lazy to bother fixing it.
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Love this combo.

Back to work, and back to the heat after the respite that was NYC. It was so nice to walk around comfortably all day in Manhattan in a suit, and not be hot once.

Oh well, have a good one.

Nope. It is a DAKS tie, it is vintage.

Good to be back!

Thanks,

Mike

Rock-solid start to the week MB. Did you get any goodies while in the Big Apple?

Oh, and don't come to NYC in the summer...you'll sweat through shorts and a wife beater in 10 seconds.

Sweet combo, IST.

Mike, I like the cut of that suit on you. Is that RL?

Looking good, Sander.

Nope, just worked and had a good time. I have been to NYC in the summer, and I grew up in the swamp that is DC. NOLA is worse.

Thanks!

I think you misunderstood my post as I didn't clarify it well enough. I understand your point that with any sunglasses the most common thing is fit and no sunglasses can fit all face types. I meant to say that Aviator style is so common these days that you seem lost in the crowd most of the times and its very difficult to look classy and stand apart in aviators even if they fit you well, but Parker was able to pull off the aviator look pretty nicely.

Here is another picture that I saw on SF where the guy looks exceptionally well in Aviators.I feel it is doubly difficult to look good in Aviators but the rewards are also two-fold if you are able to achieve it.

Take my advice with a pinch of salt since I tend to favour a longer jacket length than most, but I think your fit looked very good. The jacket is shorter than traditional, so the overall effect generated is a younger, sharper, image. If that is what you were going for, and I suspect it pretty much is given the other item choices, then stick to that length for all but the more formal situations. It certainly looks nice. A little longer would be a more formal, less aggressive, traditional length. All depends what image you want to project.

Easter Monday, and the sunshine continues, and so does the casual wear...
