welcome to the fora. sorry to be a dick, but i think those ties need to go. imo its time to get some new ones. go for solids, polka dots and simple small pattern ties, all in basic colors.

i like the colors and patterns here butch. very nice.

I very much like argyles in general. The ones in the pic, however, concerned me today. I thought they looked great in the ensemble when I got dressed this morning, but as I caught flashes of their white patches occasionally throughout the day I started worrying that I was giving off a Pee-wee Herman or Michael Jackson vibe.

I like all the brown; it's a very elegant color. How do the pants and sport coat look together though, are they not too close in color?

Thanks for the kind words/thumbs up. Citan, it's not a flannel, but I'm not sure what you would call the fabric. Seems to be halfway between worsted and tweedy. Perhaps a more knowledgable forumite can tell us:

We assume that Germaine is your drag name, which you reserve for use only on the weekends when the kids are asleep. Germane, on the other hand, we are sure that you are at all times.

you are good, for teh meetings.

if you want to improve for the future take a look at the collar size of your shirt in proportion to the tie and knot. Not that what you have is bad at all - just could be better. A collar that large could use a slightly wider tie. The tie you are wearing could use a more spread collar in order to reduce the prominence of the collar size overall.

But again - for a business meeting you are good to go!
