First off, can we please put spoiler tags on that ****? :embar:

Almost done =)

lapel looks like it's pulling a little because there's a pin there holding it, it shouldn't pull when it's done

It's a bit short, and the buttoning stance is a bit high, but it looks good overall. It's certainly more youthful than much of what we old fogeys here on MC wear.

Try buttoning only the bottom button of the coat, rather than the second button, so the lapel rolls all the way down. I think that would look especially good, considering how high the buttons are already.

It must be Friday - everyone is doing a blazer and contrasting trousers.
Everything is BB, save for the belt and the socks.

I think you'd be better served by a higher contrast up top. The values of the shirt and tie seem just a bit two close.

Today, featuring another Ugly Tie. Some cleaner pressed the life out of these lapels a while ago; I am still trying to bring them back to life.

dennis. nice.

At the risk of beating a dead sheep, the shoes - particularly the red ruby Dorothy slippers - need to go. Otherwise, I dig, I dig.

That's all right...someone must play the villain's role :)

beat away... i think we need to drive this point home. great outfits but those shoes make it look like he belongs in a circus.

In a circus...well, i'd rather call it individualism, but hey, that's just me.

Dennis Walter:

You are definitely one of the best dressed gentlemen on this forum. I always like your choice of shoes.

You'll be pretty alone in saying that. Nevertheless: thx :)

Today: a prep look.

End of the day, finally.
Wow, Pete. Just wow. Great fabric, lovely cut, well chosen accessories. You just knocked it out of the park. Maybe I can persuade you to go shopping with me!
Still not fully ready to admit that this suit was a tragic mistake.
I think it's far from a tragic mistake. The advice to try as separates has potential, and I think it also works as a suit. Maybe a navy tie?

I was going to give you some stick for the crest/badge on the jacket, but since it's for your club... Ah, screw it. Unless you're actually wearing the jacket in the club, I think that's just over the top. Otherwise, great fit.

F***in' great, Gnatty. One of the best looks I've seen from you. And I generally don't even like red ties!

I can't believe I'm putting myself on the opposite side of PSG on a matter of color, but I think the tie is just a bit too saturated for the rest of the look. It's all I see when I first look at the pictures.
Feedback given, where appropriate, by way of Thumbs, as usual.

Excellent, Doc. I generally like your aesthetic, but on days like today, your fits are exemplary.

Just a few bags I use quite often.

I plan to buy a couple bags of Berluti. I like them.

I wanted to upload a photo, but today a bad speed Internet. But many of these bags can be seen in the photographs that I have fasted before. You can search for them in my message, if it's interesting.

Today in photos of the bag Berluti

I bought a bag yesterday in Moscow provider who orders the goods from Italy
About the price - there are notably Russia. Our prices for such goods are often overestimated by 2-3 times compared with European and American. This is especially marketing and customs in Russia. Very sad but fact is fact.
The bag had a price-list price in Russia about 2000-2500 Euro, I bought with a discount provided by the supplier.

Shoes on the photo today - it's Cheaney Grosventor

cufflinks - a Dunhill, Limited Edition, onyx and silver.

Men i like your style. Those alligator elbow pads are redicilous but great at the same time.

Alligator lining may sound funny, do not argue, perhaps, but very practical in velvet. In any case - thanks for the comments!

In Russia there is a saying, "The taste and color - no friends"
wink.gif

That is the taste preferences of anything at everyone. And what seems to be fine one - the other may seem ugly.
And that's fine. We are all different - so it is interesting to live and share their experiences.

The photograph did wash out the yellow a bit more than IRL - and it is ironic for me to be accused of not ENOUGH contrast :nodding:.

Security guard with a twist. However you're living your life lately seems to be agreeing with you. You look quite content!.

Mr. Butch (sounds better than Mr. Sugar, no?) Appearances can be deceiving, unless by "content" you are implying that I am enjoying a full gullet. :D

Thanks; only on SF - or in my wardrobe - is a windowpane suit, with a striped shirt, textured tie, pocket square and suede shoes considered quiet rather than eccentric... :)

:) And coming from me—someone who would like to turn the volume down a few notches on quite a lot of outfits... (Hi spoozy!)

Summary:

To dress shirts with double cuffs is recommended to choose a jacket with a slightly enlarged end of the sleeve. This is considered the classic form of sleeves for use with shirts with French (double) cuff.

Slim sleeves end in many contemporary and fashionable jacket is not very suitable for a double cuff shirts. Such a wide cuff and often sticks out a narrow sleeve fashion jacket.

I like the shirt with double cuff cufflinks and under so I order a jacket with a slightly enlarged end of the sleeve. This is a classic shape, proven over decades. Recommend.

Hopefully this will all read. I apologize for graamati and construction of phrases. I write through the translator.
ahhhh yes i understand now no wonder when i quote you, there is all this coding embedded well, i don't think i can get larger sleeves on suit jackets to accommodate the french cuffs just yet as i only have 1 french cuff shirt but perhaps in the future i will look into it some more... more maybe i'll unbutton two buttons on my jacket sleeve instead of just 1
