Shoulders look good, very nice.

Question: Are you wearing brown shoes with a black suit?

No.

Maybe not the spot, but where has victor been hiding? I miss his fits.

burberry check cufflinks ...
received as gift
wearing them today before i decide whether to return or not
would you wear them?

I would not wear them. Tacky. I only ever put white, or smoke mother of pearl in my french cuffs.

Not digging those. Bit of a marked contrast from the watch! Although saying that - the Burberry check carries different connotations on this side of the Atlantic...

If they're a gift though - I don't think you have much choice! Wear them a few times in front of the gift giver wink.gif

received from sister and BIL
she asked if i want to keep or not... i told her i wasn't too fond of the overly recognizable burberry check...
as everything else i buy do not have visible logos on stuff

i wore them for the first time today to see how they look when i actually wear them
i guess i will be browsing for a different pair of links to exchange for

Ahhh I see. Personally I'd just lie and say I loved them. Anything for a quiet life, me.

I agree, they just look like nice cufflinks to me.  If they are a gift and you can tolerate them, then why not wear them?

Relax and keep posting, RD. Your most recent shots are a big improvement. Two more pieces of advice: First, tell people what you want feedback on in each post, such as color combo, jacket fit, trouser length, etc, and pose in ways that will best help them judge. Second, an outfit like your most recent one probably would have been better off in the MC Casual thread. No harm in posting it here, though. Just sayin'.

Also, kudos on your weight loss plans. Self-improvement goes way beyond clothing. nod[1].gif

I think your outfit looks good. You need to have some shirt cuff showing. Dont narrow your trouser legs, they dont need it, in fact because your jacket looks a little big in the shoulders, if you narrow your trousers it will make your jacket look even bigger.

Thank you so much for your constructive criticism and suggestions. The idea of posting in MC Casual crossed my mind, but I wasn't really sure where the "barrier" was!

Weight loss has been working great so far... went from size 58R jackets down to 40R smile.gif Need to work on drop though, as I still need size 38 pants...

BTW, I like the SC you are wearing - I've seen similar ones in stores around here today, your pics just made me want to grab one!
