today:

from the archive, sorry...

I'll second Nii's suggestion of less belly on the lapels in the first fit. Plaid sportcoat is stellar.

You've heard the critiques of the collar, but otherwise, quite nice.

Sweet collection, and nice fabric.
The multi-quote left out Lufty's pics, but I liked it. EDIT: In the time it took me to do this multi-quote, I see that Victor has posted THREE more sets of pictures, two apparently from today alone. Sweet cheezus. Nice fit, PG.

Thats it!
Happy birthday, Rob! Age has given you the wisdom to make your dress pants a tad longer.
LOL.
Rob, whats that thing on the table, in the shot with the shorts and your feet are up. Ashtray? I love it.
I'll allow myself a few cigars in the summertime. Thats my pop's ashtray at my folks house. We got it for him as part of his retirement gift.
happy birthday Rob. you look swell ... minus the beard ... lol.
Cheer nii, hows the big A heatin' up?
A breath of fresh air. Thanks Rob, and happy beed.
Cheers Luft.
Looking good, Rob.
Thanks Mikey, still dreaming of sausech?
Rob, I'll be 38 in September. I wish I had a deck and a pool to make the dive, lol!!!
LOL, the only pool I have is my bathtub in my little apt. Suburban life just doesn't do it for me. Its at my folks.
Thanks Victor, shoes are Aden, your gear is cool as hell, and you look a bit like Mark Messier in that one shot, so double :slayer:
Hmmm. Is the reason for your caution really that you're older, Rob, or could it be that you've got kids to think about now? Cut yourself some slack, man. :) -1 :butbut: Might as well dive off the deck after all.
Absolutely 100%. Hows your summer going? lol at the ashtray...not cigarettes just an occasional cigar with my pop. Well fellas, wasn't my birthday (two more weeks) just a commentary that I feel older, and TB is right, probably the kids. Thanks for the comments!

Thanks! As to the collar, I have gotten the same comments on the last 3 fits I posted, so by now it should be becoming obvious that this is a stylistic choice on my part and not a blindspot I need feedback on, but keep em' coming..

These are really beautiful summery colours and patterns.

The blazer has buttons too close together for me.

Always fun to see double monks. Buckles are perhaps "daintier" than I'd have expected you to have chosen, given your usual choices.

First photo demonstrates nicely how to wear a floral shirt. I love them in theory, but never get round to adding a couple to my wardrobe. I need to correct that at some point.

Regarding the second photo, can you recall what the navy herringbone cloth is? I think I saw something similar in a Porter & Harding book and wondered if it's the same fabric?

Here's the tale of the tape:

Hamilton red check shirt
Turnbull & Asser bow tie
Silk square (can't remember who made it)
Thurston suspenders
Brooks Brothers silver knot links
Pantherella socks
Polo Tellman shoes (C&J made)
Custom Optimo Panama

Gave thumbs up above instead of bukkake.

Yes, this collar is unbuttoned. Wanna make something of it?
