The back alone deserves 1.000.000 reposts. Excellent!

Up to your usual high standard.

Nice coat. The tie knot needs some attention, though.

And the sleeves... Jacket has been heavily altered; couldn't part with it. Thanks.

Yet another rainy day in NYC. This suit, after this wearing, is making a visit to my tailor - it can use a bit of taking-in.

FWIW, and have at it, fellow posters . . .

By the same token, when it become warm enough to wear linen in the city, no one in his right mind would wear jeans (assuming one has the option not to).

I really like Rob's contributions to this forum but sometimes I just think his outfits are off. This falls into that bucket, despite what the SF Group Think police have to say.

I don't think linen and jeans is an issue, I think their textures are a natural fit for each other. Yes it was 65 degrees in the afternoon, but 40 in the morning. Believe me, I don't take criticism personally, and I like to have some fun with what I wear, so fire away! Sometimes I fel an outfit of mine isn't aesthetically pleasing, but I don't think this is one of them.

I think you might both be right. The pants are pleated, and I had the legs slimmed, "but not too much". I think he might have gone slightly overboard at the cuffs.

I know that you pooh-poohed this combo as "too easy", but that's the way in which that shirt was designed to be best worn - looking good, AS.

Is it possible that your tailor only slimmed them from the knees down? He's given them kind of a jodhpurs-like silhouette, and that's not too flattering. Make him fix it, if possible.
