I feel hesitant posting so soon after a potential Foo-threak, esp. given the controversial elements in this look... :)

Nice, but I think that a more contrasting PS would be better. (a simple white for example)

This looks great (especially the jacket!), maybe a plain white or pale blue shirt would have worked better.

Holdfast: aside from the oversized lapel flower (I understand it has some kind of meaning in the UK) I really like this thing a lot ... nod[1].gif

oh and I like your trimmer pants...

It's sad that until f.c. posted the batsense video, I thought that was a scene from Reign of Fire.

A fantastic movie. Wait. no.

I quite like this, though I do wish the exposed front hung more perpendicularly to the ground. And while I like it, I think I'd still prefer a 6 x 2.

Something about this really reminds me of that fantastic pic of il vecchio's pinstripe DB; in my opinion, that's still among the best ever posted on the forum, so to note any resemblance is intended as a high compliment.

The mildly adventurous man might wear a gray glen with a blue overcheck.
The more adventurous man wears a gray glen with a red overcheck.
The man with nads the size of Epcot wears:

1113010.jpg
1113009.jpg

That's right. Gray glen with purple overcheck.

Um hum.

This is a great look UC, love the suit, especially the lapels, and the shirt and tie look absolutely fantastic together. Well done..

I really, really liked this, but when I saw the third picture, I had to agree with Foo that the pattern on the shirt and coat seem to be competing with each other a bit. I initially thought the shirt was a pale blue, in which case the coat, shirt and tie really worked well together.. You've got some great looking clothes..

I REALLY like the jacket and the shirt, not so much the tie. But the patterns on the jacket and shirt are fantastic.

well... foo might actually be 1.5m tall ... and he can't change that....
that being said
i don't think this DB coat does anything to help with the height challenge
i don't know if it's the cut or the buttons or what... but just doesn't help to create an elongated silhouette
probably better to stick with a SB?

Thanks. I couldn't really capture the tie and jacket pattern well but I really like the tie & shirt. The shirt is a Keaton and looking at the pics I probably could have got it at a better angle.
