Why don't you just cheat like some of the other guys and wear a linen PS? Though that really should have been a no-go for the challenge.

It was so hot in Cali today...I barely had my jacket on at work.
Do linen suits run cooler?

Well, I unfortunately called the challenge when it was +8 here... so it turned into "use what linen you can given your weather"...

I would have loved to participate, but was bed-ridden all day.

Some absolutely fantastic (and some.... ) entries though! Can't wait to see the summary!

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

The work fit looks fine, if a bit predictable in some ways, but I really like the casual look; great shape & fit on that jacket.

Looks all wrong to me ^^

Warm enough for white linen and bucks but cold enough for a hat and scarf?
A murse and a handbag?
Less is more!

I understand your point, but I disagree. Thats the epitome of Spring. Cooler mornings (sometimes cold) and warm afternoons. This morning was about 45 on the walk to work, and then close to 65 on my walk home. The scarf was a spring scarf, very lightweight, and the hat was a linen one. This isn't the first time the critique has come up in the thread, and I'm curious why the thought is there? If you go to work in an overcoat, and then carry in home in hand in the afternoon, isn't that the same principal? No one says anything about that. Is it simply regarding fabrics that this sentiment applies to? The bag was my wife's, I was carrying it for her as she had a shoulder bag as well...just forgot I had it for the picture...

Rob, love the look. I am still in search of a pair of bucks, but with no luck yet. The hat looks great. I have a few linen ones like that for the summer.
