The socks are awful, and the pocket square needs to be six shades less electric, but the overall look is really good. Were I to do the same, I would also go with a quieter tie. The shirt and jacket are excellent.

Not trying to be cute, I've just noticed a few places you are going astray and could use some assistance. Sometimes, a little help from somebody who has been around can be a very good thing.

CTP

VERY nice fit. Great tailoring and even though the color combination is nearly bland the play of cool/warm grays with the various textures is spot on.

Well done!

God, what an arse (and I want to use stronger language than that)! Spoo would kick your ass, because in the context of a fit-off, he would make some awesome fits...

Feedback/critiquing is one thing (even mildly harsh thoughts), but you are persistently and purposefully being a nob!

That is all...

Benjamin E,

On the outside chance that you are not just f**king with us.

Please note: Your look is pretty much a total mess. Slouchy, unbuttoned and loosely groomed clothing is not a flattering look on a man of your stature. Specifically, your tie is a mess, your trousers are too long, and the unbuttoned vest only increases your girth.

Sorry dude - clean it up or move on would be my advice.

If the trousers fit you, it would at least make more sense! Doing-up your shirt/waistcoat wouldn't hurt, either!

Have to admit that that is a really nice-looking tie! Also, material on everything looks nice...

I enjoy your reasoning. It is truly stellar.

I just posted this in another thread, but I can see that it's needed here too:

If people want their opinions to be treated as opinions, they should state them as opinions. It's as easy as: imo, imho, I think, etc.

If forum history is indicative of forum future, iammatt and niidawg are going to be good friends soon. I think fighting for guys is a form of flirting. Anyone remember the fight scenes in Far and Away?

Thanks I got it at the Rack for a C-note. The brand is 14th & Union, never heard of them but both the fit and price were right. Yeah, at Wabash and Wacker.

Looked familiar. Chicago > NYC. Smaller, less hectic, cleaner and much more polite people.

been a while folks ... did i miss anything?

Whats up broseph... where were you? Let me know so I can tell you somewhere else you should have been that is better

Spoo and the Spooettes- While Spoo is one of the coolest people on the forum... a 'Fit-Off' against Matt would not end well for Spoo at all I'm afraid

Is that a challenge? :lurk:
