^^Very nice, ctp. And thanks for the compliment earlier, IS.

You crazy. That style is my favorite, in fact my version of the oneshoe.

Your model is made by lobb, no ndw? If you can't stand Matt's criticism and want to get rid of them and they're a 9.5/10 US, I'll take 'em.

They are fine for casual. They look a lot like the Church's slippers my father used to wear in the locker room at the club.

hmmmm, by SF standards the suit is passable and of note is that the shoulders are wide. by real world standards, wear a crisp white shirt (with a collar that fits you this time) and a colorful but tasteful tie and you'll look good. while we're at it, those shoes might be too casual for an event, and the belt is fairly casual too... Keep posting!

you must be new here... :) Tibor marches to his own drum, and if i may say, does it pretty well. Nice 'accessories' too!
Just not digging that look, it's too dark for my taste. It's all personal preference though.

I usually would wear a light blue shirt with a white collar, silver houndstooth tie, and burgandy pocketsquare, but I decided to go too radical. Strike 2.

I think it would look great with a light blue shirt and like an off grey tie.. Hard to say from the pic though.

They do look like slippers, and they don't get a lot of love on the forum. But I think they're a pretty traditional men's shoe. Here's some pics of old ones made by Lobb of London. Maybe someone more knowledgeable than I knows if they were/are worn w/ suits. I'm betting they were and long before khakis and other more casual items were invented. Of course, what was true and good once is not necessarily so now.

It's the wrong pink. On the upside, it is absolutely the right gray. As for the shoes, I actually don't hate them, I just hate them with a suit. With khakis and no socks, they would be OK.

well, in order to fail you have to have tried. I am assuming a lighter more washed out pink....

CTP - thanks for posting a pic. I very much admire your style, fit and color palette in virtually every one of your posts. Yours is a style that I aspire to.

Thanks emptym. They are lobb's. I have had them for a few years. They are incredibly comfortable and I have worn them so much they are starting to fall apart. Deciding whether to recraft them.

As for wearing loafers with a suit, I personally like the look -although, I can understand the opposition. I guess it's one of the rules that I am willing to break. Sometimes being comfortable is more important to me than being "technically" correct.

Thanks I got it at the Rack for a C-note. The brand is 14th & Union, never heard of them but both the fit and price were right. Yeah, at Wabash and Wacker.

IamMatt- you could stand to be a little less harsh...people are putting up pics, thus they will be criticized. Perhaps a more helpful manner,as well all know you are knowledgeable.

Spoo and the Spooettes- While Spoo is one of the coolest people on the forum... a 'Fit-Off' against Matt would not end well for Spoo at all I'm afraid
