Lots of problems i think with the sportcoat. it was an impulse buy from my old roommate. shoulders are good, as are the sleeves. but the lapels, button stance, and waist are off. needs to be let out some. I regretted the pick as soon as i got in my car today.

sportcoat by j press, shirt by gitman bros, bb milano trous.

For the love of the tooth fairy, use spoilers, people. It's really easy. Click the blacked-out comic book speech bubble icon above the reply box, or simply type the following before:

...and after:

...the image tags you're quoting. Please.

Looking good, UC - that's not an.....Attolini Cashmere tie, is it? Nice to see the Palace as your backdrop - icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

what for? Spoiler or no spoiler, the images load anyway. There should be a WAYWRN thread that says 'No Discussion', like they have over on SW&D. This would provide for a cleaner thread.

I'm not concerned with page-loading time, more with having to scroll through acres of repetitive images. My favorite is when the OP is considerate enough to use a spoiler for the deets, but subsequent commenters remove the spoiler tags. Sweet...

Well, seeing as how traffic seems to be dying down on AAAC, I thought I'd double post over here from time to time.

Suit yesterday, as part of our business conference. Nice that they decided to have it at the falls. This is over lunch. Too bad it's back-lit. Three piece taupe suit, black shirt, burgundy print tie, dark blue plaid PS.

(wish you could see it)

And then we might as well take out the offending item there, for a better view of the good-lookin' part.

And then I fell asleep the other day and didn't post my new duds. Since the airlines lost my luggage, I bought a day's worth of clothes, and am sending the bill to American Airlines. Here at the Falls, I just went to the local men's store that the hotel recommended, called "Moore's". Turned out to be a good place, and I'm really happy with the new stuff. In addition to the required socks and undergarments, the shirt is a really nice iron-free Joseph and Feiss cotton. The tie is a Burma Bibas 7-fold, burgundy with a nice sheen. I just happened to have my Nordstrom's navy blue PS with me, that also has small white polka dots in it, that seems to go with it well, without doing a "matching tie and PS" thing.

Derek, nevermind about the jacket, your eye for style is steadily growing in the right direction. The aesthetics are right.

Spoo, you look crazy good as normal.

You two guys give me a reason to up my game.

It is not often I see DB suits posted. Keep up the good work. If my camera was not so 2MPixel poor, I would post images of the POW Plaid DB suit I wore myself today. I love the aesthetics of a properly fitted DB jacket.

derek, i'm not sure jpress will work for you. for me, the shoulders are too padded for you and even slightly too big, there's some unnecessary fabric hanging out around the arms, and the cut seems off.

were i you, i would send this SC on its merry way to a more appropriately-proportioned/styled owner.

I disagree with you mister. The reason I come here is to see the images of these amazing men who dress so well that they inspire me to do better myself. They say an image is worth 1000 words, so please guys, dont use spoilers at all, show me the details, because thats what i have come here to see. The close ups of your tie knots, and close ups of the various fabric colours and texture makes all the difference. So again, please guys, dont use spoilers because then i would have to click, click, click everytime i want to see the details that you have taken so much time to photgraph in the first place.
