SS - Don't mind that guy, you're doing great. I'd say your lapels are a little skinny for my taste, and if you do want to go with lapels that skinny, go with a skinnier tie and maybe even bring in the shoulders a little (although it's hard to tell from this one pic). I'd also say go a little easy on the colors for your tie, but that's to personal taste I guess.
Also on the jacket: it may just be the way that you're standing, but looks like the shoulder line isn't really smooth. It may be that you need the collar lowered to take care of that. But again, might just be how you're standing. See if you can somehow look at the back, either by using mirrors or getting someone else to look or take a picture, and see if there is horizontal pulling near the collar.
The jacket is an unstructured cotton which makes even the slightest ripple look really apparent, and I have broad shoulders from working out and playing soccer which makes it hard to find an OTR jacket that fits really well in the shoulders and chest. (Any input on how to fix this would be appreciated) I agree with the tie to jacket proportions which is why I previously went with the knit but I don't currently have the funding for a new jacket at the moment. As for the tie, I like to wear some pretty wild shit sometimes and I might as well get away with it while I'm young. I'll try to get a picture of the back of the jacket but thanks a lot for the advice.
Thanks for the comments,
