Interesting suit, Nick. Lower buttoning point. Is that a hard 2/3 roll, or a regular 2 button. Does not look like your normal stuff. American?

I hesitate to critique this, as it's so close to perfect. But I think you could get the rest the way there with a little more attention to the tailoring of the trousers. It looks like you have prominent calves, or a hip-forward stance (or both)? Your calves just appear to be pulling the back of the trouser legs, messing up what could otherwise be a smooth, clean drape.

Of course, it could just be your stance for the photos. In any case, great suit and great outfit!

^Your best fitting SB suit. I am not sure whether I like the tie (at least not with the blue shirt) as the photos/color is so distorted.

^I like this a lot as well. It appears you wanted a more casual look, but I think a textured navy tie would have been nice here.

Thanks, Mike. 2/3 from lvsn. I've come to prefer a lower button stance and less suppression.

Your critique is very welcome - I do think that what you see, however, is a combination of stance and a full (humid) days wearing

Thanks. It's an OCBD by Hilfiger - my only horizontal striped shirt, which I was trying out in accordance with the very helpful information in this thread - not really sure the vertical stripes work with the (DB) blazer though :-/ .

Mossrocks, I think pB was referring to your tie.

That is correct. You mentioned black shoes and your colors plus that tie suggested wedding in my mind. Looks good nonetheless.
