depends on if the tailor left enough material to let out ... or if he cut them away
take it to the tailor and ask

Coat sleeves are short and it's hard to tell the suit fit the way he's standing.

How bad is it? Would you suggest adding a 1/4" back? The tailor says the suit fits well and its a reputable tailor in the area. It's the same tailor though that adjusted the sleeve length to make it shorter. Maybe if I take it back he can fix it for free.

try taking pictures again
and don't stand in front of those blinds again please....
can't tell if it's an optical illusion or if you have a bunch of divots on the shoulders

stand straight with your arms straight down (the "robot" pose)
and have someone else take the pic or use the self timer

Looks to me that it's only your right sleeve that is too short, the left one looks fine. From working in the industry years ago it's a very common problem, in fact pretty much no one's arm and leg leg are in perfect symmetry.

Yes it is very common that ones arm length may very. Do you think it worth making a fuss about to the tailor or should I just leave it as is?

Really nice look, blazer is amazing. Your shirt sleeve length looks very similar to mine, what are your thoughts about the sleeve length on my suit?

Thank you!
it was hard to tell from the pics, but it looked fine to me. This blazer Im wearing is going in for surgery on saturday. the sleeve length is just too short for me. I need the sleeves let out about a half an inch Also having teh chest taken in just a smidge and a touch more waist supression.

yeah your sleeves look a tad short as well
but at least the jacket looks to fit you better than the last one (pinstripe?) you posted
the pinstripe suit looked a bit too tight on you

nice color combination throughout the outfit

Or maybe someone will invent an air pump that will inflate ties to greater width and fullness for outfits such as these. Nice pieces all around though.

This is a really good point which I will address - First, I will never do a windsor. I hate that knot (sorry) and unless I do this, Ill do a DFIH, but thats it. No other knots. This suit, as you can see is a very wide lapel, and the shirt is a wide spread. At the time of these purchases, I was buying strictly 3.5" ties. Lately, I have added a few 3.25" and 3" ties, as I like them - but I think its easier to replace the ties than the suits and shirts. smile.gif This is a very good point that I had not taken into consideration until you brought it up, so thanks for that.

Nein on both accounts!

1. Untrue, I get criticism left and right lol8[1].gif
2. I step out of my comfort range a lot, I have no fear of trying something new
3. I really appreciate that. fistbump.gif

You think it will be hard to drop the length of sleeves, I've only heard of taking them in?
