Here's a picture and basic summary (from PG) of what happened in Round 1.

WAYWT82111.jpg

navy suit.
light blue shirt.
red/blue/green tie.
light blue pocket square.
brown belt.
brown/burgundy shoes.

The shoes are sort of brown and have been polished with brown shoe polish. But they show up here as burgundy. It honestly depends on the light.

So the following things are all attempting the suggestions made by PG and other SF members:

-growing hair out (well, trying to).
-same brand and size shirt.
-added almost an inch to the tie (2 to 2.8 inch width)
-wore tie clip lower.
-didn't touch the jacket waist (only thing tailored was pants, sleeve length, sleeve opening).
-showed sleeve length?
-pulled pants up.
-hopefully got length of pants right.
-still working on location.

Yes, no, maybe so? biggrin.gif

A definite improvement on your first fit, although the jacket does look too tight still, and I don't think 3 button is particularly flattering for your figure, especially with 2 buttons fastened.

I always keep the jacket buttoned, the bright tie "summerfies" the fall type jacket.

Disagree with Spoo - that tie's great and picks up the bright blue in the coat. Glad to see you back posting here.

I agree its great. I almost bought one smile.gif I just think its a bit too bright. It works, but I would have preferred a slightly darker one. To each their own.

I'd say still go wider on the tie, 3.25" or 3.5" would be ideal for you. Also, it may just be SF group think working for me, but I feel like a spread collar with a lower height would look better on you, the way you are in the photo now, I don't even see your neck.

Victor, as disappointed as I was, you're still welcome and accepted. Keep posting smile.gif

son, how old are you?
where are you getting your clothes?
your jacket looks like it belongs on a middle schooler - too small?
collar + tie gap is too emphasized
look at VICTORSF's pictures and dress like that dude... satisfied.gif

ps. i know you are asian and all but cut out the porcupine hair-do... its facepalm.gif
