Anyone every buy lobster online, I'm looking for a decent place. I was hoping this community could point me in the right direction rather than using the first one that popped up on google.

I don't get that same taste that I did when I lived on the east coast.

Where do you live? Find the place that sells to good restaurants in your area and buy from them.

The lobsters I can get most easily are Canadian. I wonder if there is a difference. Eh?

Colder water is better. Especially in summer, Canadian> Maine.

Didn't you say something (maybe it was gdl) about Mediterranean lobster being your favorite?

Here's a good spot that will ship.

I've been going to the store for a long time +25 yrs. Obviously no experience with mail order personally, but product is top notch. If you have any questions on their quality, look at their wholesale page and who they supply.

My understanding was that the best-tasting lobsters are the ones which cannot survive shipping. Also, I heard that these less-hardy lobsters are therefore cheaper. I.e. in Maine during season, you will have the best tasting as well as cheapest lobster.
