Here are two hand-tailored sportcoats by an apparently obscure Italian maker called Sartoria Randazzo Catania. See this thread on what the name probably refers to.
These things are just gorgeous--more handwork than I've ever seen in a coat other than my Oxxfords. The long seams on the back may have been done by machine, but EVERYTHING else is by hand. Buttonholes, collar, lapels, pad stitching, pick stitching lining inserted by hand...it's great.
They are a bit wrinkled from the thrift store, and my mannequin is a size 40, so apologies for the pictures. But hopefully they'll capture for your the amazing quality of the jackets.
The navy flannel was hard to capture color-accurately, but it's pretty much your standard navy (or a hair lighter) flannel. The flannel jacket is 2b, unvented, with faux buttonholes that are not cut through.
The checked jacket is a 3/2 or 3/2.5, side vents, with (3) working buttonholes.
Measurements for both are the same, and I make them out to be somewhere around 46R or 48R:
Chest: 50"
Shoulders: 22"
Length: 32"
Sleeves: 26.5" +1.5" to let down on the flannel.
The sleeve measurement includes slight roping at the sleevehead, so they may fit ever so slightly shorter. Hard to say.
I can't imagine what these must have cost new. Thousands, without a doubt. You can have them for just $150 shipped CONUS each or both for $275. Shipping elsewhere will be extra. Now $125 each or $225 for both!
